Cania Gorge Holiday Park is located 35km out of Monto is one of southeast Queensland’s most picturesque gorges – Cania Gorge. Cania Gorge National Park boasts 3000 hectares of spectacular landscape, prominent sandstone cliffs, caves, eucalypt forest and dry rain forest with mosses, orchids, figs and vines growing in moist, sheltered areas. This secluded area is home to a variety of Australia’s native flora and fauna including kangaroos, rock wallabies, and over 100 species of birds. The 8 hole disc golf course runs along side the par 3 ppitch and putt golf course. The majoirty of the holes ae situated on a steep hill, creating some challeging holes with elevation. Andrew has over a decade experience playing and promoting disc golf throughout Australia and the world. From initial consultation to completion, Andrew has designed and delivered disc golf course projects for various local governments, schools and private businesses. As Tournament Director, Andrew has designed multiple disc golf courses for the Australian National Tour and was the Event Co-Organiser for the 2017 Aussie Open PDGA Major. Andrew has served as a board member of Australian Disc Golf (ADG) and is the co-founding member of Geelong Disc Golf. ” I just love to give back to this sport and the community”.
